It all started…
Three years ago, when I found myself in the middle of a spiritual crisis. I felt like I had run into a brick wall. And I realized, I needed to make major changes.
I started actively engaging with myself. I started a regular meditation routine. And I started questioning what was supposed to make me happy, and started following what actually made me happy.
Since then, I have changed in numerous ways. I see the world differently, and most importantly I see the role I play in my own journey differently.
I have let go of the feeling that I was a prisoner to the world around me.
That I wasn’t control in my own destiny.
I let go of feeling stuck.
And I realized, that my life was not contingent upon outside influences, but on me.
Recently (it feels like everywhere I go!), I have been finding myself in conversations about meditation with people who want to meditate, but they don’t know where to start, how to start, or if they can start.
I have heard “I can’t meditate” or “My mind isn’t built that way” or “I always have so many thoughts, I can’t focus”
Those thoughts are SO common. But they are mistaken.
Anyone can meditate.
There is just a commitment to practice.
